Fall tutoring program up and running

ATTN: ESA Members,
The Economics Student Association is glad to invite all ESA members on a trip to Chicago to visit the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, and the Chicago Board Options Exchange. We will be departing Kalamazoo at 8:00 am Friday December 14 th (Friday after finals) from the REC center parking lot.
First, we will be visiting the CBOE at 11:00 pm (central time) where we will take a guided tour, and will be able to go on the trading floor. After the tour, we will take a break for lunch that will be paid for by Dr. Van Wesep. At 1:00 pm we will take a tour of the Federal Reserve. When the tour is finished, we will have free time to tour Chicago. We will eat dinner at some point before departing Chicago at 5:00 pm. We plan to be back in Kalamazoo at 9:00 pm tentatively.
This will be a great opportunity for students to see first hand the inner workings of the CBOE and the Federal Reserve and have the chance to ask questions to professionals who work there. Dr. Van Wesep is s graciously providing transportation, lunch, and dinner for all students attending. This trip is limited to ESA members or Economic Majors who wish to become part of the ESA.
If you are interested in participating in this trip, you must fill out a waiver form and emergency contact information form (both of which can be found below), and return them to Dr. Van Wesep by 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12 th room -5451 Friedmann Hall.We would also ask that you RSVP with Aaron Leveston (email is included below) by Friday December 7th to ensure sufficient transportation and food will be provided. Students are advised to dress professionally because if we are not dressed appropriately, we will not be able to tour the CBOE floor.
