Grand Rapids, MI- The Western Michigan University
Bronco Skating team competed February 22-25th
at the 2006 United States Synchronized Skating
National Championships. The senior team opened
their competition skating their short program,
and with a very strong performance, finished 6th
place with 39.89 points. Saturday afternoon, the
collegiate team competed and finished 2nd place
behind the reigning collegiate champions, Miami
University. Saturday evening, the senior team
was back to compete again, and with 3 unfortunate
falls, finished 6th place, with 65.33 points.
