In Memoriam,
On July 10, 2002 Michigan Delta lost a brother and a friend, when Chris Mirto was involved in an accident on his Motorcycle and was taken from us. Chris had only been a brother at MIDE since the winter semester but had distingusished himself with his genuine friendship and attitude of living everyday to the fullest. Chris was a Social Chait-elect, and received the Best Out of House Brother award for Winter 2002. The brothers at Adrian (MIAL), where Chris Pledged in Fall 2000, said Chris always strived to make their Chapter Better.
So on July 15th all of the brotheres of MIDE gathered with over 900 others from the WMU, Adrian and Brighton Commmunities to memorialize Chris and to say goodbye to a dear friend and brother.

Chris is survived by his mother, Kimberly, father, Gary, and sisters, Elyse, Danielle, and Rachaelle.

A memorial scholarship fund has been set up in Chris's memory at his alma mater, Brighton High School. For more information please call (810) 229-2783.
