Ebony Byrd Home Town: Muskegon, MI Year: Senior Major: Early Childhood Education Why I joined: There are a number of greeks in my family. I grew up knowing basically two greek letter orginizations, neither of which were Sigma Gamma Rho. I chose SGRho, because the members were real. I know that not only I will benefit from what Sigma has, but they will also benefit from me. I love Sigma Gamma Rho! What I am looking foward to: I am ready to be an active part of greek life here at Western Michigan Universty. I am really looking foward to all the programs planned and having a positive affect on our community.

Ashley Wilburn Why I joined: I joined Sigma Gamma Rho because I was free to be myself. I didn't feel like I had to change who I was to fit in some type of mold. When I first started to people in the org, they immediately drew me in. I felt so comfortable being around them. When they would tell us different stories about being in SGRho, it just made me feel like I have to be a part of Sigma Gamma Rho. It’s just like what everyone always says this organization "just fits my personality." What am I excited about this year?I am really looking forward to this semester because I really wanted to show the campus what Sigma Gamma Rho is truly about. |
