Welcome to the homepage of Pakistan Student Association (PSA) at Western Michigan University. The main purpose of this homepage is to spread and share useful information to all students, especially the new international students those who plan to pursue their education at Western Michigan University.

About the PSA

The uniqueness of this student organization lies in the fact that it happens to be one of the largest Pakistani Students associations in the United States. The organization remains in the limelight of the major activities conducted in the University. Recently, the Pakistan Students Association at WMU organized a peace concert featuring South Asia's and Pakistan's biggest rock band, Junoon. The concert was a smash hit, not just amongst the Pakistanis and Indian students, but also students from other countries. The concert also won the CAB award for best new program in 2003 at the Golden Bronco Awards.

Apart from this, the association has frequently promotes cultural and entertaining events for the student body. The organization is also known to promote cultural events, and recently acquired immense appraisal for 'Safar' and 'Gupshup' held recently.

Each year there is an international student festival that takes place on campus. The PSA is a strong contender in this event and has always done extremely well in the event. Below is a picture of the PSA participants in the 2001 Food Fest.

Members of the esteemed organization have diversified interests. For instance, Western Michigan University's cricket team comprises mostly of Pakistani students. Each year the team participates in intra-university tournaments and performs very well.
