MidEast Web was started by people active in Middle East dialog and peace education efforts. Our goal is to weave a world-wide web of Arabs, Jews and others who want to build a new Middle East based on coexistence and neighborly relations. Our members and staff include distinguished educators, engineers, Web designers and other professionals experienced in dialog, peace education projects and in promoting dialog and coexistence using the Internet. MidEast Web for Coexistence is a registered non-government organization in Israel.

The Palestinian Academic Society for the Study of International Affairs (PASSIA) was founded in March 1987 by Dr. Mahdi Abdul Hadi and by a group of Palestinian academics and intellectuals in Jerusalem. PASSIA is an Arab non-profit institution located in Jerusalem with a financially and legally independent status. PASSIA seeks to present the question of Palestinian national determination in its Palestinian-national, Arab and international contexts through academic research, dialogue, and publication.

Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research (PSR) programs and activities are organized through three units: the Domestic Politics Unit (DPU), the Strategic Analysis Unit (SAU), and the Survey Research Unit (SRU). These units conduct and organize four types of activities: research and policy analysis, empirical surveys and public opinion polls, task forces and study groups, and meetings and conferences. The units focus on current public policy issues with a special reliance on empirical research as the tool to advance scholarship and understanding.

Organizations of Interest

The Alliance for Middle East Peace (ALLMEP) is an exciting new coalition of 38 non-governmental organizations (NGOs), who promote people-to-people coexistence between Arabs and Jews, Israelis and Palestinians in the Middle East. Ittijah is the network for Palestinian non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Israel. Established in 1995, Ittijah was founded in response to a clear and widely felt need for increased cooperating and exchange between Palestinian Arab organizations, both large and small. Through the Parents Circle, 250 Israeli and 250 Palestinian bereaved families that have lost loved ones in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict work together to promote dialogue, reconciliation, and mutual understanding through media campaigns, educational projects, cross-border seminars and cultural events. Its "Hello, Peace!" project provides a toll-free phone exchange which has hosted more than 530,000 phone calls between Israelis and Palestinians to create a human infrastructure for peace.
