The Afrikan Diskipline is an African-Centered Martial Arts Training Center teaching the art of Hekima, which means "Wisdom" in Kiswahili.  Students of all ages can benefit from our institution's teachings.  The art of Hekima is a hybrid of the Korean discipline Tang Soo Do and African/Black History.  Our diverse atmosphere is one for all to enjoy.

Founded April 26, 2006, J.G's Martial Arts Shule emerged.  Jonte Grasty, a  1st Degree Black Belt from the Jabari's Martial Arts Academy of Detroit, MI decided to continue his instructor's mission of promoting Africans/Blacks roles,  origination, and philosophies within the martial arts. 

We are located on Western Michigan University's Main Campus.  We service the WMU student/faculty body and the residents of Kalamazoo.
