Field Trips

Where have we been and where are we going?

Going out into the field is an important part of Geology.  As any professor will tell you, the more rocks you see, the better Geologist you'll be!

Every spring, we take a large trip to a destination of our choice.  Throughout the year, we try to take multiple weekend and day trips.

Spring Weekend Trip: Geoclub will be going on the Strucutral Geology Class trip with our Advisor Dr. Schmidt.  We will go to the Southern Appalachian Mountains for 4 days in April.  Please let us know ASAP if you are attending.
