Event Description |
Elements of Hip Hop is a breakdancing sports club affiliated with Western Michigan University. They are hosting a dance performance this Nov. 18th and the theme of the event is "Hawaiian." The promotion of the theme will include decorations, leis, Tahitian dancers, a luau (chicken shish kabobs and tropical drinks), and live drum music during the 20min. half-time show. The event is open for anyone to attend, especially those in the local community. Tickets are cheap at $3/ticket, and the food is $1 per item. This event is a safe and fun event, so whether a college student or local community member it is highly recommended. Escape the Winter. |

HardCore Detroit - Professional breakdance group from Tahitian Dancers - This group consists mostly of International students attending Western Michigan University. They have volunteered their time and energy to perform in this event. West African Drum Group - Local drum group |
To Purchase Tickets |
| We will be selling tickets from 10am - 3:30pm in the Bernhard Center on the ground floor. The Bernhard Center is located across and a little bit down the street from the Student Recreational Center (SRC) on Michigan Avenue. They will be sold there during that time during Oct. 31st - Nov. 3rd. and during Nov. 7th - 10th. We will also be selling them up through the 18th and any left over tickets will be sold at the door. Limit is 1000 attendees. Please feel free to contact us if you need tickets but cannot make it on campus, we will make reasonable efforts to bring the tickets to you. |
