| WMU ASCE Student Chapter voted 'Most Improved Chapter' | |
ASCE Student Services named the WMU ASCE Student Chapter to be the 2009 Most Improved Chapter. Along with this honor, WMU also received a Certificate of Commendation. For more information and to see the rest of the award list, please visit ASCE Student Services. |

| 2010 North Central Regional Conference (NCRC) | |

Western Michigan University will host the 2010 North Central Regional Conference March 26-28, 2010. For more information please see our 2010 NCRC Page. |
| Joint Meetings held with the Local ASCE Chapter | |
| The Southwest MI Section and Student Chapter held two joint meetings this semester. The first meeting was held on Thursday, October 29, 2009, at noon in D-109. MDOT gave a presentation about emergency shut downs of I-94. The second meeting was held Thursday, November 12, 2009 at noon in the E-F lounge. Students were able to talk to professional engineers from eleven area engineering and construction firms. |
